En una proyección especial en dos partes, seguimos explorando la obra de Basma Basma Alsharif, Oraib Toukan y Jumana Manna, al tiempo que proyectamos también el trabajo de Aida Ka'adan. Estas cinco películas exploran la vida en Gaza desde la realidad, las voces que se enfrentan a las fronteras, la distancia, el territorio, la música y la comunidad, al tiempo que profundizan en nuestra comprensión de la compleja vida cotidiana en un perpetuo estado de guerra...

La segona part de Narratives Palestines presenta 3 curtmetratges i 1 llargmetratge. En una projecció especial en dues parts, seguim explorant l'obra de Basma Basma Alsharif, Oraib Toukan i Jumana Manna, alhora que projectem també el treball d'Aida Ka'adan.

Part II of Palestinian Narratives presents 3 short films and 1 feature-length film. In a special 2-part screening, we continue to explore the work of Basma Basma Alsharif, Oraib Toukan and Jumana Manna, while also screening the work of Aida Ka'adan.

These five films explore life in Gaza from the ground up, the voices that confront borders, distance, territory, music, and community, while deepening our understanding of the complex daily life in a perpetual state of war...

About the curators:

RatitaFilms is a multimedia production laboratory. We curate, we produce and create experimental, archival and in-process works. Follow the rat. Allison Acza Figueroa Rojas is a filmmaker and researcher, working in video art, sound and artistic research. Born in Tongoy, Coquimbo,Chile and growing up in and around Canada. As an immigrant and resident of Canada and Europe, Allison’s work seeks to examine and challenge colonialism through the intersections of food narratives, identity politics and relations to homeland.

Revive Social and Art Producer, aims to create artistic events emphasizing on

visual arts exhibitions, conversations, audiovisuals projections. We also collaborate with other entities where we create spaces to showcase and elevate the work of diverse artists in their

majority emerging. We are committed to social justice and environmental sustainability

through empowerment between artists and audience in order to strengthen the community.

About the space:

Sala Fènix with 10 years of programming this cozy and beautiful multipurpose space for theater performances for all audiences and performing arts training. Sala Fenix focuses on high cultural proposals with national and international companies. Today, they open their doors for a space of meeting, socializing and art.
