The Dear Hunter è il progetto solista di Casey Crescenzo, ex chitarra e voce dei The Receiving End Of Sirens. Nel 2005, quando Casey faceva ancora parte dei TREOS realizzò un demo autoprodotto intitolato Dear Ms Leading, che venne distribuito su una board di fan della band.
