Jam session of improv theatre Málaga

Come join us for a session of laughter, games, and pure unfiltered fun. 2 hours trying out and practicing improv games and exercises, just to have some fun and meet English-speakers in Málaga.

When? See the dates available to book. They are always different, so you can come to all of them. The time is always from 18:30 to 20:30.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A member of the mylaga community will run the sessions, proposing a set of exercises and games to play, and giving orientation on how to play them. This is not an improv class, but it can give you an idea of what a full-fleshed improv class can be like. And it also isn't a show (you will be expected to participate as much as you can).

We strive to maintain a safe and welcoming space where you can meet fellow improvisers and new friends.

Expect spontaneity, silliness, and acceptance. Leave your judging mind and your ego at the door.

Do I need previous experience? You don't. But if you do, you'll have loads of fun too. In the booking process we'll ask about your level of experience, so that we can run the session accordingly. The idea of these jams is that people with no experience get to try improv, and people with experience have an opportunity to practice and have fun doing improv. So everyone is welcome.

Boundaries & Safety

The jam hosts wish to be as accommodating as possible, so feel free to let them know if you have any specific needs (e.

g. boundaries, triggers).

We seek everyone's cooperation in making the jams an open and inclusive safe space, for anyone to take part in.

We remind all attendees to be respectful & 'punch up' during their scenes (e.

g. avoid homophobia, misogyny, racism, etc.

)

This is a charitable event: As with all our activities, 10% of all the profit goes to a local charity for the homeless.
