Rumba. Antes encuentro vacileras de esterpalo la habitación son rumba. Estas enigmáticas palabras son las últimas que pronuncia la mujer de Víctor antes de morir fulminada por un ictus. Víctor deshace lo andado buscando respuesta al enigma: «¿Qué quiso decir su mujer justo antes de morir?»
Su último recurso es volver a la habitación de hotel donde pasaron su primera noche juntos. Allí, Víctor resuelve suicidarse. Pero le interrumpe Daisy, la joven camarera de piso.
