Este nuevo proyecto de la compañía Pieles es una propuesta musical de gran valor antropológico y didáctico. Se trata de una serie de composiciones concebidas desde un prisma visual y sensorial, desde donde el oyente es capaz de moverse en un espacio atemporal; recuerdos, anhelos, esperanzas y euforias se entrelazan con las melodías que nos acompañan en nuestros camino.

ARAUTAVA está inspirado en el folclore tradicional del archipiélago canario. Es una apología del trabajo y de las tradiciones; su música, sus bailes, sus gentes. En definitiva, todo lo que identifica a un pueblo.

Para Pieles, la música tradicional es una fuente inagotable de inspiración artística, a la que se suma la influencia decisiva de la música y las artes actuales. El resultado de este mestizaje es un folklore global, que se hermana con el patrimonio cultural de otros pueblos.

La compañía está dirigida por el artista multidisciplinar Jonatan Rodríguez, y constituida por los músicos Fede Beuster, Ventor de la Guardia, Carlos Castañeda, Guillermo Molina, Itahisa Darias, Germán G. Arias, Juan Antonio Mora, Jeremías Martín y las solistas Laura Álvarez y Fátima Rodríguez; además, cuenta con el imprescindible trabajo de Ubaldo Pérez en el diseño de sonido y de Dimas Cedrés en el diseño de luces.

    Pieles es un espectáculo que se saborea mejor sentado y en un lugar íntimo, con buena acústica y donde se siente el palpitar de los músicos
