Un recorrido por el universo sonoro de las canciones. El programa que se presenta explorará las tradiciones liederísticas alemana y española. Viajaremos a la Alemania del siglo XIX, donde el lied (“canción”) se instaura como genero de prestigio de la mano de compositores como Schubert y Mendelssohn, y a la España de principios del XX, donde el folklore y las melodías tradicionales son recuperadas. En este caso, obras de Manuel de Falla.

Málaga Guitar Orchestra 

A journey through the sound universe of songs. Songs are the direct testimony of the cultural expressions of a region and a given era. In a short space of time, they are capable of condensing popular sentiment on a specific topic. The programme presented will explore the German and Spanish liederistic traditions. We will travel to 19th century Germany, where the lied (“song”) was established as a prestigious genre by composers such as Schubert and Mendelssohn, and to early 20th century Spain, where  folklore and traditional melodies were recovered. In this case, works by Manuel de Falla.
