Amada tiene un oficio muy particular y por esa ocupación su hija Carmen lleva toda la vida sufriendo el desprecio por parte de todos los chicos que se acercan a conocerla, hasta que llega José Luis el único que tiene el coraje, o la necesidad según se mire, para adentrarse en esa relación tan “peculiar”.

Lo que no se imagina José Luis es que este romance lo va a llevar a un final inesperado, muy lejos de sus sueños de hacer una nueva vida en Alemania.

Tomando como punto de partida el guión de Rafael Azcona de la mítica película del año 1963 de Luis García Berlanga “El Verdugo”, el Grupo Teatral Talía realiza una nueva versión en donde la comedia negra, la crítica social y una simple historia de amor se reúnen para homenajear a uno de nuestros ya clásicos del siglo XX.
