Vuelve la mejor banda de rock en castellano de todos los tiempos. Este 2019, Marea regresa con nuevo disco, El azogue, del cual, pese al hermetismo que rodea siempre a todo lo relacionado con los de Berriozar, ya se dice, por los pocos afortunados que han podido escucharlo, que es el mejor de toda su extensa carrera de más de 20 años.

Camino ya del cuarto de siglo en los escenarios, sigue la leyenda: Kutxi, Kolibrí, Piñas, César y Alén continúan escribiendo con letras de oro la historia viva del rock de habla hispana… ¡QUE SUBA LA MAREA!

La banda navarra Marea fue formada por Kutxi Romero en 1997. Sus integrantes son Kutxi Romero (vocalista y composición), Eduardo Beaumont Piñas (bajo y vocalista), César Ramallo (guitarrista), David Díaz Kolibrí (guitarra eléctrica y guitarra acústica) y Alén Ayerdi (batería y voces).

Su primer álbum, publicado en 1999, iba a llamarse "Marea" y ellos "La Patera", pero al ir a registrarlo ya existía un grupo con ese nombre, así que decidieron intercambiar los nombres, por eso se llaman Marea y su primer álbum "La Patera". Lanzaron su sexto álbum en 2011 "En mi hambre mando yo". Es una de las bandas españolas con más éxito dentro del panorama del rock nacional.

De 2011 a 2019 no publicaron ningún trabajo hasta que el 6 de marzo de 2019 rompieron su silencio discográfico con el lanzamiento de su single "En las encías" que es el adelanto del que será su próximo álbum "El Azogue" que se publicará el 12 de abril.
