La farsa del siglo de oro, es una comedia en verso, original de Armando Jerez, ambientada en un antiguo corral de comedias, donde cinco actores dan vida a ñps `rincipales personajes de las letras y las artes españolas de los siglos XVI y XVII. De este modo, por escena desfilan tanto Cervantes y su Don Quijote como Calderón de la Barca y su Segismundo, así como un Lope de Vega poseído por las musas, Góngora y Quevedo en una guerra dialéctica de insultos, o Velázquez dando las últimas pinceladas a Las Meninas. El humor es la nota dominante en toda la obra, buscando la sonrisa cómplice del espectador, que se acercará a los grandes genios del Siglo de Oro como nunca lo había hecho hasta entonces desde un patio de butacas. Una pieza imprescindible para conocer el pasado glorioso de nuestro Barroco.
