SINOPSIS:
Tras permanecer en un silencio hermético durante cinco años, fallece una madre, interpretada por Nuria Espert, que deja un sobre a cada uno de sus hijos gemelos. A partir de ahí, somos testigos de la búsqueda de las huellas de una vida marcada por la guerra y el desamparo, en que la tragedia política y la humana se entrelazan en un estremecedor relato.
Wajdi Mouawad logró con esta obra “incendiar” el corazón del público de muchos países con una intensidad que no tiene parangón. “Mouawad es un incendiario, pero de las fabulosas aves fénix que renacen de sus cenizas. Incendios habla de ese renacer, de fuegos que a veces hay que sembrar, del terrible camino que a menudo hace falta recorrer para llegar a uno mismo.”
Mario Gas reúne a un reparto extraordinario para el estreno en nuestro país en lengua castellana de esta obra clave del siglo XXI.
