SARA HEBE + MAMÁ REVUELTA en el Studio 54, León

Tenemos el honor de arrancar la celebración de LA XARANA 2023 (que continuará el 9 y 10 de septiembre en la Xana de Torío, Pedrún del Torío, León) nada menos que abriendo la primera noche de nuestro aquelarre en León con la artista internacional, Sara Hebe. Pasará por nuestra ciudad como parte de su gira europea presentando su nuevo disco “Sucia Estrella”.

Sara, es una cantante y compositora venida de la Patagonia Argentina, nacida en Trelew (Chubut) en el 83 y criada en los barrios con calles de tierra.

Es camaleónica como nadie en cuanto a estilos, pues se mueve entre las aguas del Hip-Hop, el Rap, la cumbia, el funk carioca, el reggae, el dancehall, el Punk y la música electrónica, o el “reggaeton antifa pa’ que la gente lo baile como quiere” como ella misma canta.

Debido a sus inicios en el teatro y la danza tiene muchos registros y estéticas, pero su ética siempre prevalece; alzando la voz del pueblo, los colectivos feministas y transfeministas y minorías componiendo tanto letras políticas y sociales como festivas.

Ella se considera una mutante, y para muestra se pueden ver y palpar en su discografía cinco álbumes en los que va cambiándose de pieles constantemente. Esto se ve desde su primera publicación, “La hija del loco” en 2009, a “Puentera” en 2012 -producido de forma independiente junto a su co-equiper Ramiro Jota-, continuando con “Colectivo vacío” en 2015, “Politicalpari” en 2019, “Sucia estrella” en 2022 y un montón de singles, colabos y el tema principal de la banda sonora de la serie argentina “El Marginal”.

Sin ninguna duda es toda una referente que deseamos vengáis a disfrutar con nosotres.

Apertura de puertas: 22:00h con la pinchada de la artista invitada Mamá Revuelta (Alba Tomé), que toma su nombre de la Revuelta Bar, un espacio que fue referente en la ciudad de León durante años, para quienes buscaban buen rollo y buenos bailes. Eso es lo que nos transmite en sus sesiones, que tocan muchos estilos, desde el punk al perreo, siempre acompañados de un espíritu combativo y una sonrisa. Su presencia en los platos es garantía de jaleo, ofreciendo mezclas inesperadas pero que funcionan a la perfección.

Después del concierto la after party será en El Gran Café (Calle Cervantes, 9) , con las pinchadas de las artistas Eve & the Apple y Kill Vir.

El sábado 10 y domingo 11 continuará como siempre de forma gratuita LA XARANA, el encuentro feminista autogestionado que se celebrará por sexto año en La Xana del Torío (Pedrún de Torío, León). Allí tendremos talleres, conciertos, pinchadas ¡y mucho más!

We have the honor of kicking off LA XARANA 2023 (which will continue September 9 and 10 at La Xana de Torío, Pedrún del Torío, León) by opening the first night of our gathering in León with the international artist, Sara Hebe. She will be here as part of her European Tour.

Sara is a singer and songwriter from Patagonia Argentina, born in Trelew (Chubut) in 1983 and raised in neighborhoods with unpaved streets.

She is a chameleonic like no other in terms of styles, navigating the waters of Hip-Hop, Rap, Cumbia, Rio funk, reggae, dancehall, Punk and electronic music, or "reggaeton antifa pa’ que la gente lo baile como quiere” (antifascist reggaeton so that people dance it as they want) as she herself sings.

Due to her beginnings in theater and dance, she has many registers and aesthetics, but her ethics always prevail; raising the voice of the people, the feminist and transfeminist collectives and minorities composing both political and social lyrics as well as festive.

She considers herself a mutant, as proved by her five albums in which she constantly changes skins. This can be seen from her first publication, “La hija del loco” in 2009, to “Puentera” in 2012 -produced independently with his colleague Ramiro Jota-, continuing with “Colectivo vacío” in 2015, “Politicalpari” in 2019, “Sucia estrella” in 2022 and multiple singles, collaborations, including the main theme for the Argentine series “El Marginal”.

Doors open: 10:00 p.m. with DJ set of guest artist Mama Revuelta (Alba Tomé), who takes her name from the Revuelta Bar, a space that was a staple in the city of León for years, for those who were looking for good vibes and good dances. That is what she transmits to us in her sessions, which cover many styles, from punk to perreo, always accompanied by a combative spirit and a smile. Her presence at the party guarantees craziness, offering unexpected mixes but that work perfectly.

After the concert, the after party will be at El Gran Café (Calle Cervantes, 9) with DJs by the artists Eve & the Apple and Kill Vir.

On Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th LA XARANA will continue as always for free. This is a self-managed feminist gathering which will have its sixth edition in La Xana del Torío (Pedrún de Torío, León). There will be workshops, concerts, DJ sets and much more!
