Festival Mar Abierto tiene el placer de presentar la segunda propuesta de la programación de 2022 con el espectáculo This is Michael, en el que el rey del Pop revive en un show internacional que ha conquistado el mundo junto a una selección internacional de bailarines, cantantes y músicos, y con un montaje escenográfico impactante, This is Michael ofrece un show único en su tipo.

El gran protagonista del espectáculo es Lenny Jay, que se suma a este proyecto después de haber transitado varias temporadas en el exitoso musical europeo sobre el rey del pop, donde recibió halagos de la propia familia Jackson. Su increible parecido físico y vocal, convierten a This Is Michael en una experiencia única, que permite emocionarnos recordando y vibrando con el eterno MJ. Hay que destacar que Lenny Jay fue elegido por propia la familia Jackson para protagonizar la voz de MJ en el musical que ha recorrido Europa y América agotando más de 400.000 entradas durante los últimos años.

Tambien forma parte del show, Jennifer Batten, guitarrista estrella que compartió escenarios con Jeff Beck y durante10 años y varias giras mundiales fue la guitarrista de Michael Jackson, reformando la música del rey del pop a un estilo mas rockero, donde fue pieza fundamental en temas como Bille Jean, entre muchos otros.

En esta gira mundial de This is Michael se incluyen shows en España y Portugal, además de una extensa gira en Latinoamérica, donde se destaca el Movistar Arena en Buenos Aires, el Movistar Arena en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile, y el Arena Monterrey en México, además de varias ciudades de Portugal y España que se conocerán próximamente. This is Michael es un concierto de más de 2 horas de clásicos, incluyendo y destacando temas tan reconocibles y que han trascendido en la historia como: Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, y muchos más. Según todos los asistentes es un espectáculo que le hace honores al "artista más exitoso de todos los tiempos".
