Michelle David & The True-tones saben cómo organizar una velada resplandeciente de soul clásico. Con sus ritmos alegres, voces poderosas y melodías fuertes, ya han conquistado muchos festivales y numerosos clubes. Girando desde Pinkpop hasta North Sea Jazz y desde España hasta Escandinavia, dejando impresiones memorables dondequiera que toquen; entregando una experiencia en vivo inolvidable. Además, también se ha elogiado la discografía de la banda; de Álbum del mes en la radio FIP de Francia a uno de los Álbumes del año en BBC Radio 6 Music (Reino Unido).

La pasada primavera, Michelle David & The True-tones regresaron con un nuevo álbum, en el que la banda también ha vuelto a un sonido más áspero y enérgico. La banda se inspira en el antiguo gospel, los clásicos del renombrado sello Stax o los discos de Bobby Womack, sólo por nombrar algunos. El nuevo disco está grabado en vivo – con la banda completa; simultáneamente en el mismo espacio en el estudio, haciéndolo sonar enérgico, auténtico y cautivador. De cualquier manera, escuchará el sonido y el mensaje distintivo de Michelle David & The True-tones.
