Miguel Conejo Torres, popularmente conocido como Leiva, está de gira por España presentando los temas de su álbum 'Monstruos'. Este es el tercer disco en solitario de Leiva. La gira de Leiva tiene ya fechas en Canarias confirmadas, pasando por Tenerife el próximo 11 de Marzo.

El nuevo disco de Leiva, 'Monstruos', se colocó en lo más alto de las listas de discos más vendidos de España nada más salir a la venta, y también en el top de las principales plataformas y tiendas digitales. Con este último trabajo, Leiva se consolida claramente como un referente del panorama musical de nuestro país. En el disco y conciertos de Leiva se respiran emoción e historias personales a modo de pequeñas confesiones.

Con su tercer trabajo, MONSTRUOS, LEIVA apuntala hasta el zenit su meteórica carrera en solitario. Adentrarse en MONSTRUOS es agarrarse con las manos húmedas a dos cables pelados de alta tensión. Es inevitable el calambrazo.

MONSTRUOS provoca cortocircuito por hache y por be. Por esas emblemáticas letras de tono confesional y descarado del que habla a pecho descubierto y aún pretende guardar en la manga un comodín. En MONSTRUOS LEIVA explota al máximo la cualidad del maullido de su garganta y recurre al fuego de las emociones pirotécnicas: el amor y su incertidumbre, la amistad y sus traiciones, el éxito y su cortante doble filo. Mapas emocionales donde hay que mantener el equilibrio y saber contar, tirando cuando se requiere de expresiones de chico de barrio que en su voz se convierten en alta poética de rock hispano.

En MONSTRUOS  la música sostiene y eleva el espasmo lírico, tensando la cuerda o soltando sedal a conveniencia de la canción. LEIVA tiene interiorizado el rock de guitarras anglosajón (del rock americano a la new wave, de los setenta a la actualidad), el rock urbano español y el rock argentino y los usa con la sabiduría del que lo lleva en los genes y lo practica a diario. El primer single, “Sincericidio”, ya adelantó una constante del disco: LEIVA embrida tensiones primarias con estribillos arrolladores, sonando fiel a sí mismo y con lo más grande qué decir.

Aún calientes los discos de oro recibidos por sus dos primeros trabajos, aún vigentes los numerosos premios y  galardones, aún en el aire el eco de la ovación pública ante la estela imparable de la gira anterior, LEIVA vuelve a cortar la respiración presentando su tercer trabajo, MONSTRUOS, en el que es sin duda el lanzamiento discográfico del año.

MONSTRUOS es el disco definitivo de LEIVA.
