1) Bela was formed in late 1997 when guitarist/singer-songwriter Jeff Hogan got tired of his "guitar-rock" band Cultural Exhaust, and began to write in a more moody and melancholy style. Soon enough he was in the studio calling upon his friend, and former Rasputina cellist Julia Kent to add her stylings to his new track. Read more
