Juan Escribano

Juan Escribano (Johannes Escrivano, Scribano, Scrivano) (c.1480 - 1557) was a Spanish composer. He sang in the Papal choir 1507-39, and was one of the Spanish composers most highly regarded in Rome. His small amount of surviving music, including motets and several sets of Lamentations, is of high quality.
