Formed in 1992, when Stereolab's debut hit the streets, dallas share many qualities with those Franco-English purveyors of avant-garde Euro-pop. Isolated from Western influence until 1991, this Baltic band developed their own blend of decade-spanning pure pop, rooted in the erstwhile movements of twist, new wave, krautrock, and the early-90's Manchester scene.
