It was in 1989 when three individuals came together to form Archgoat. Those individuals went by the pseudonyms Angelslayer (Growls of the Fullmoon), Ritual Butcherer (Axe of Black Mass) and Blood Desecrator (Bombardment). Two years later, in 1991, they released a demo called "Jesus Spawn" and played a few liveshows. They signed a contract to Necroplis Records and released "Angelcu Mehr anzeigen
