When we think of shibari / kinbaku / Japanese bondage, our imagination tends to go towards challenge - many ropes, complex ties, suspension, contorted bodies, the torment of semenawa.
Those familiar with aibunawa, the "caressing rope" style of Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki recognize that this floor-based style is a more sensual approach to ropes.
Yet too often the focus is still more on the rope than the person being tied, or the conversation between the two people engaged in a session.
Aibunawa Foundation is focused on "soft skills", exploring subtle energies, attention and intention. Participants will lea how to move their partner, and with their partner, both physically and emotionally. This class also introduces a few basic rope techniques, including a first simple partial suspension.
This workshop will be taught by Stuart (Instagram / Fetlife) and Cath (Instagram / Fetlife).
NOTE: Deposit is not refundable. If the workshop is full we will open a waiting list, which will be used to try to fill any cancellations that may be required.
