"Jazz music inspired and written with the sounds of folk music from around the world. "

In this quartet with guitarist Eddie Mejia, Bassist Masa Kamaguchi, and Drummer Ken Ychikawa, I compose music from the entire breadth of my musical taste. I find inspiration from many types of music such as folk music from around the world (China, West Africa, Ireland, America), punk/alteative rock, mode jazz, and classical music.
Although this is an eclectic list of music when put together, I dont aim to imitate or write fusion of this music and jazz, I simply try to compose uninhibited by genre and recognize these sounds in my music.


This music is the work of my debut album to be recorded on September 9th.
