About Us:

International Lesbians Barcelona was created to enable queer women to hang out, socialise, and explore the city together. Whether you’re looking for friendship, networking, community, or romance, you’re in the right place.

WHERE: We tend to meet in different LGBTQ bars and spaces. It varies depending on the event!

WHO: Women who love women - lesbian, bi, queer and everything in between! We are a trans-inclusive group and will not tolerate any form of discrimination.

LANGUAGE: English and Spanish. You’re welcome to speak any language at our Meetup but, as we are an international group, the common language tends to be English! However, the organisers and lots of our members speak Spanish too.

INTERNATIONAL: We are proud to have such a diverse range of nationalities in our group. However, don't take the “international” title too seriously as Spanish and Catalan members are MORE than welcome too! What would we do without the locals?

FIRST TIME ATTENDEES: Feeling nervous about coming alone to an event for the first time? Don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our organisers - it would be our pleasure to meet you outside the event and introduce you to other members!

International Lesbians Barcelona fue creado para permitir que las mujeres queer salgan, socialicen y exploren la ciudad juntas. Ya sea que estés buscando amistad, contactos profesionales, comunidad o romance, estás en el lugar correcto.

DÓNDE: Solemos reunirnos en diferentes bares y espacios LGBTQ. ¡Varía según el evento!

QUIÉN: Mujeres que aman a mujeres - lesbianas, bisexuales, queer y todo lo que hay en medio. Somos un grupo inclusivo de personas trans y no toleraremos ninguna forma de discriminación.

IDIOMA: Inglés y español. Eres bienvenida a hablar cualquier idioma en nuestro Meetup, pero como somos un grupo internacional, el idioma común suele ser el inglés. Sin embargo, las organizadoras y muchas de nuestras participantes también hablan español.

INTERNACIONAL: Estamos orgullosas de tener una diversidad tan amplia de nacionalidades en nuestro grupo. Sin embargo, no tomes el título de "internacional" demasiado en serio, ya que las participantes españolas y catalanas son MÁS que bienvenidas también. ¿Qué haríamos sin la presencia de ellas?
