About the Event
Do not miss the first performance of Donizetti's Don Pasquale at the Opéra de Paris in a production by Italian director Damiano Michieletto and under the musical direction of Speranza Scappucci.
Both light-hearted and dramatic, Don Pasquale is the apotheosis of opera buffa. Set in 19th-century Rome, the opera tells the story of a rich bachelor who desires to marry but is deceived by his nephew and his young bride-to-be.
