Thirty-six years after the ground-breaking original Broadway production, this UK and West End premiere of the sensational and iconic musical Dreamgirlscontinues its run at the Savoy Theatre. With direction and choreography by Olivier and Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin) and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), this much-anticipated production has taken London by storm. Featuring the classic songs "I Am Changing", "One Night Only" and the show-stopping "And I Am Telling You I?m Not Going" this new production features the Oscar nominated song "Listen", written specially for the 2006 motion picture. With book and lyrics by Tom Eyen and music by Henry Krieger, the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls opened in 1981 and went on to win six Tony Awards; with this fabulous cast and creative team, the London show is continuing that success! Performance Information: Dreamgirls running time is 2 hours 30 minutes which includes one interval. The show is recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, we recommend Dreamgirls for ages 6 and up. Children under the age of 5 will not be admitted into the theatre.
