Uno de los pianistas clásicos preferidos del panorama musical actual. Nacido en Zabrze (Polonia) el 5 de diciembre de 1956, mostró desde temprana edad afición y talento para el piano. Su padre, en un tiempo pianista profesional, le dió las primeras lecciones. Pero fue Andrej Jasinski quien continuó su formación desde 1963 hasta que en 1975 ganó el concurso Chopin de Varsovia, lo que constituyó un trampolín para extender sus actuaciones a Alemania, Holanda, Bélgica, Italia, Noruega y Suecia. Al poco tiempo conoce a Arthur Rubinstein quien tiene una gran influencia en su evolución como músico.

Ha trabajado con directores como Herbert Von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein o Zubin Mehta.

Sus grabaciones de Beethoven y Chopin son auténticas referencias para los estudiantes y muy apreciadas. Es uno de los pianistas exclusivos del sello alemán Deutsche Grammophon. Su repertorio incluye además autores como Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Brahms, Liszt, Schumann, Schubert, Grieg, Debussy, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Bartók, así como otros compositores polacos contemporáneos (Szymanowski).

Alma-Sofia Miettinen (born 17 January 1996), known professionally as Alma (stylised in all caps), is a Finnish singer and songwriter. Beginning her career in 2013, she placed fifth in the seventh season of the Finnish version of Idol. Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she was featured on the single "Muuta ku ma" by Sini Sabotage, and was subsequently signed to Universal Music Group.

The following year she released the singles "Karma" and "Dye My Hair", both of which became top ten hits in Finland. Her 2017 single "Chasing Highs" repeated this success, and also reached the top twenty in Germany and the United Kingdom. Her extended play Heavy Rules Mixtape was released in 2018 and reached the top ten in Finland. She has collaborated frequently with English singer Charli XCX, Swedish singer Tove Lo, English DJ Digital Farm Animals who produced most of the songs of her debut album and most recently, American singer Miley Cyrus.
